2026 Melbourne 4x4 & Outdoors Show a Huge Success

The 2026 Melbourne 4x4 Show has wrapped up for another year, and it was a huge weekend for the team at Enhanced Offroad Solutions and the wider Australian 4WD community.

With thousands of 4WD enthusiasts checking out some of Australia's best builds, accessories and off-road products, the show provided the perfect opportunity to catch up with customers, industry partners and other passionate four-wheel drivers.

For Mat and Tegan from Enhanced Offroad Solutions, there were two particularly exciting highlights from this year's event – helping launch the incredible Red Dirt Diary GU Patrol project build and seeing Mat's own Y62 Nissan Patrol on display at the Raslarr Engineering stand.

Red Dirt Diary GU Patrol Project Revealed

One of the biggest highlights of the weekend was the official unveiling of the latest Red Dirt Diary project build.

Mat and Tegan from Enhanced Offroad Solutions were on site to help launch the vehicle and finally show 4WD enthusiasts what has been created.

And this certainly isn't your average GU Patrol.

The project combines the legendary Nissan GU Patrol platform with a BMW V8 engine, creating a truly one-of-a-kind Australian 4WD build.

The GU attracted plenty of attention throughout the Melbourne 4x4 Show, with enthusiasts getting their first opportunity to see the finished vehicle up close.

For the Enhanced Offroad Solutions team, it was fantastic to be part of such a unique project and to see the reaction from the 4WD community when the vehicle was finally revealed.

Mat's Y62 Nissan Patrol on the Raslarr Engineering Stand

The Red Dirt Diary GU wasn't the only Nissan Patrol attracting attention at the show.

Mat's own Y62 Nissan Patrol was proudly displayed on the Raslarr Engineering stand, showcasing a tough and practical combination of Australian-made 4WD bar work and touring accessories.

Mat's Y62 has been fitted with an impressive Raslarr setup, including:
